Tennis and Racquetball



Roland Moore Park has a number of nice public tennis and racquetball courts located at 2201 S. Shields. From the campground, take a left out onto Taft Hill Road. Proceed south on Taft Hill for three miles. Now turn left onto Prospect Road and head east for one mile. Make a right-hand turn onto Shields Street. Soon after turning onto Shields, you will come to Roland Moore Drive (a stoplight). Turn right and drive all the way back until the road dead ends in a parking lot.

The racquet complex includes eight (outdoor) lighted tennis courts and three (outdoor) racquetball/handball courts. There is no fee to play, but the courts can be very busy on weekends. It's best to go in the morning or early afternoon on weekdays.
