Frequently Asked Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all four major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), debit cards that have the symbol of one of the four major credit cards, and cash. We do not accept travelers' checks, personal checks, or business checks.

Are pets allowed? Is there a fee?
Pets are welcome whether you are staying in an RV, a tent, or a kabin. The only exceptions are Rottweilers, Dobermans, and Pit Bulls, which we do not allow. Pets must be leashed/restrained at all times when they are outside, and they may not be left unattended if they make noise (e.g., barking). Pets may not be brought into public buildings or areas such as the pool area, the office, the bathrooms, the gym, the activity center, or the playground. They may not swim in the lake. If you are in a kabin, kottage, or lodge, then there is a $5 per pet per stay charge for those accommodations. Also, if you are staying in an RV or tent site with more than two dogs, there is a $5 charge per stay for each dog beyond the first two.

If I stay at the campground, is it okay to have guests over?
You are welcome to have guests over if they are going to be staying for a few hours or less. If they are just coming over for dinner and will be staying at your camp site, there is no charge. However, if your guests will be using the pool, the showers, the gym, the pavilion, the playground, or the fishing lake, or if they will be staying over night, they will need to register and pay the standard rate for additional people ($5 for adults and $3 for kids). Whether or not your guests use the facilities, they will need to stop in at the office upon their arrival. We will be happy to provide them with a map and direct them to your site. Guests may not bring their pets with them. If you will be having more than eight guests, there will be an additional charge even if they do not use any of the facilities.

If I'm not staying at the campground, can I pay to just come and use the pool/lake/playground/gym/showers?
No. All facilities are for registered guests only.

Can I bring my boat to use on your lake?
No. Outside water craft are not permitted on the lake. We have paddle boats that you can rent and fish off of.

Is it okay to swim or wade in the lake?
No. There are sharp rocks in the lake that could injure waders and swimmers. We have a swimming pool that you are welcome to use, though, which is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
